A virtual tour is a tour that allows you to see pictures around the place and more at home.
The highlights of virtual tour is that you wouldn't have to leave the house, you could get clear pictures and videos. You get to see people and allow people to show you around online.
Some of the weaknesses are that you can get lazy sitting around watching a virtual tour. You could get bored or the site could stop or be frozen. Also some tours could be out dated. You limited to move around with your mouse and you cant go into most of the tours too. I think that virtual tours aren't very good because its so much better we you go out and look at things in person. I personally don't like them you are so limited in where you can go and most of  the tours you are not allowed in side but some of them you can. The tour that I looked through was the wood lands mansion when I looked though it it was lagging. The one I like most even though I lagged was The woodlands mansion because it has a beautiful outside scenery and it was good that you can go inside the mansion.

TGC Vist

Today all the year 8 girls went to TGC to have a look around the school. We all assembled in the hall and the new head girl, deputy head girl, sports coordinator and arts director were all on the stage. We opened the day with the karakia and then the head girl gave a speech and it was really good. After that we went to a classroom and what happened was the teacher talked to us and some students told us their experience. We got a pack with some information, like stationary, uniform and more. Then we went on a tour of the school, we saw each block and then we also saw the pool area the gym and the field. I am excited to go to TGC but also scared to, I am looking forward to making new friends too.

Advice for year 7's

When you first start Tauranga Intermediate School you might feel scared and lost. I new know one when I came to TIS but I started making new friends. Then you will eventually fit in. The teachers are really nice and if you are in room 42 Miss Campbell gives out rewards every week, there will be star of the week and there will also be a red bull draw. We you come to TIS just remember to be nice and also make sure you be sociable with everyone. At lunch time you can go anywhere to hang out. You can go to the playground, the field anywhere but not out of bounds. Don't think that you can go on any site without Mr Ransly Being able to see it. With your PE uniform girls usually where there PE shorts under there skirt to school then you get changed at school before you start your work. We only wear hats in term 1 and 4 but I advise you not to wear a high ponytail also don't hit people with your hat. Don't ever bring a cellphone to school because you will get it taken of you. Don't put food in the paper bin. Only use the Rimu toilets. Don't wear romans sandals with your PE gear. Totara are our enemies. Don't wear Nail Polish. Don't wear makeup.

Sound quality : It was good and I liked that we had a voice over for there poem and the music added into the video.

Camera skills : We had good places and angles for there shots and I really like them filming in the car.

Acting : I think that the acting was good but we could have acting improved on the scene where they were smoking at the back of the school.

Editing : I think the editing was really good and kaidin did a good job, we had photos and music and even voice overs.

Poem : I think it was good us having a voice over for our poem but i think our poem could have made more sense.

Quality of the Life Ed message : I think our message is good because we are telling a story where to teenagers smoke then they get told off, they also see the consequences of there mum finding out our message was don't smoke it can get you into a lot of trouble.

Team work : Our team work was good although as teams do fight over  what to do your movie on after that was sorted and we knew what we were doing it was a great teamwork.
