Rimu Rimu is a slow-growing tree, eventually attaining a height of up to 50 m. Rimu and other native trees such as Kauri, Matai and Totara were the main sources of wood for New Zealand, including furniture and house construction.

Sewing

Today I decided to make a pillow and it really easy first I cut out the pattern then got the fabric and pined them together then cut them out. I did that to both pieces then sewed the fabric together. Then I trimmed the edges. next I turned it the right was out then I ironed it then added the filling and last of all sewed the wrest of it up and I also did different pattens for both sides of the pillow heres some pics .

Soft tech

This week I have been doing soft tech and we made a water proof bag that I can put my ipod in I liked soft tech because I am a young designers so I found it really easy this is my bag it has a dance logo on it because I do dance.

Tiga's improvement

Tiga have grown so much she is so big now but because she was the runt of the litter she wont grow very big I love having a kitten around as well as a dog. Tiga is very playful and every morning we wake up she is darting around and always wants her breakfast al the time she also drinks a lot of water. She has a really weird habit she always plays with the water she puts her paw into the water and flicks it every were its so weird but so funny cause when you walk into the laundry there is always water al over the floor it so funny. Tiga has improved so much and we love having her around.

Give to families in need

Giving
Recently my Mum and I went to the salvation army and we took a lot of our old clothes to them and things that we didn't need we took about five bags full of clothes for the families in need we always take al our clothes there because families that dont have much can buy all the stuff that we have donated.

Improve your leadership skills

In the first week of this term my friend and I were walking to school and a teacher asked us to welcome university students into the school and guide them to the hall we had to were the school blazers and it was so cool this really helped me with my leadership skills it was awesome.

Homework Challenge

Hi this is what I will be doing for my home work! frist I going to do a giving challenge I will be funraising for the 40 hour famine for children in need so we will be not eating and not talking for 20 hours each its going to be fun cause we will also have a sleepover two while we are doing the 40 hour famine.
